Stargazing at Hurkey Creek Park is Out of This World

Stargaze under the warm Southern California night sky in the local Hurkey Creek Park located in our own Riverside County Santa Ana River Watershed. Beautiful Hurkey Creek Park is surrounded by vibrant green pine trees and astonishing mountain views creating the charm of a woodland recreation area.

Continuing August 16th, the Temecula Valley Astronomers will be at Hurkey Creek Park Amphitheater and will give a star gazing experience like none other. Have a chance to utilize cutting edge telescopes and equipment so that you can have a crystal-clear view of the stars.

The Temecula Valley Astronomers strive to spark interest in astronomy and cosmology through meetings, presentations, and other community outreach efforts. The members of the non-profit organization strive to share information about our universe.

  • September 20-21, 2019

Festivities will begin at sunset. Hurkey Creek Park is located off Hwy 74 in the San Jacinto Mountains, only 4 miles southeast of the Mountain Center, near Lake Hemet at 56375 Highway 74 Mountain Center, CA 92561. For more information, click here.
